Dr. Ramirez is a clinical psychologist, psychoanalyst and professor at the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo León (U.A.N.L.) in Monterrey, N.L. Mexico. He is also a consultant and international speaker.

Professor Ramírez is dedicated to the clinical practice in the private sector, as an individual psychoanalyst, couples and family psychotherapist. Also works with families and caregivers who have a relative and/or patient with dementia, in the process of diagnosis and treatment. 

He has had an important role in many social programs and research, particularly developing and applying prevention strategies for social and family violence, depression, anxiety, school violence, drug addiction and diverse problems in parent-son relationships, as well as teacher-students relationships.

Consultant for companies, associations, schools, universities, hospitals and various mental health institutions, in private and public sector.

As a lecturer he has been working for severals institutions and universities in Mexico and dictating courses and conferences abroad.

Currently he is a professor and supervisor in U.AN.L. Pychology School.
